COVID19

Our management team, in cooperation with Cornell University, prioritizes the health and safety of tenants. Measures are in place to reduce the risk of Covid spread. We encourage prospective applicants as well as tenants to request a meeting via zoom rather than an in-person whenever feasible. All staff, including landlord, house manager and maintenance crew is required to wear a mask and protective gloves when and if they need access to an apartment. Housemates are instructed to create and sign a plan that includes all necessary cleaning and other preventative measures as well as to develop quarantine plans in the case of a positive Covid test. Tenants will continue to be responsible for rent payments even in the event that they need to quarantine off site for 10 days.


DEPOSIT

A non-refundable deposit of $150 is required to put a hold on a rental unit pending application review. Upon approval of application, $150 will then be applied toward the security deposit payment due at signing which shall be the combined sum of two months rent.


SUBLET

In recognition of the various CU programs requiring a semester abroad, we fully anticipate that tenants who have signed a 12 month lease may need to sublet for one semester. Landlord reserves the right to do a background check on all sublets however no reasonable request will be denied.
